Just got the G15, it's amazing!
Too bad about the GW support though...
It would really enrich the gaming experience if the lcd was supported.
So that's why I am signing.
if WoW can do it, so can we!

Definetly.
I've been using this one: here.
It works perfectly, but could be done a lot better with some graphics and more functions.
So, I hope they will start supporting the G15!

I love my G15 keyboard. Definitely one of the better keyboards Logitech has made recently.
I still don't know what could be displayed on the LCD screen that the game's HUD doesn't do, but what the heck....

Anet allows the use of any keyboards and macros as long as it isn't a macro which automates character operation, that of which requires no human input. You or anyone can write a macro for any key or keyboard stokes. Just because the keys are positioned in a different manner and are marked with alternative text does NOT make that keyboard a supreme advantage to any other keyboard that can do the exact same thing by defining macros. Logitec's macro builder just makes it easier to do. Plenty of keyboard macro builders out there that even make botting perfectly possible. I can build a complexe macro that can play the game for me while i hit the bars/pubs, whoopty doo!
Staying further on topic, as to the LCD display on this particular keyboard, I just don't see how the use of the lcd display would be useful. I think it would be a neat toy, but who stares at the keyboard while playing? I think the chat idea would be the best thing, but is there a scroll option for the lcd? Favor might be cool...
Anyway, i really think they have enough to address within the game itself and unless there is a simple solution, i just don't see it worth the resources to impliment.

Some idea (rehashed from the thread)
Which server controls Hall Of Heroes
Mission Timmer (Count Up / Count Down) -> Great for factions mission bonus.
Current Real time / Date
"System Wide Messages -> Please log off" -> New Build Avaible.
Current time playing
List the current Location & District you are in
In combat, list all the skills that are "ready" not recharging
Just some ideas

You can program the buttons below the lcd to have diffrent functions all pending how you press them. so all and more are possible.
This is a great thread and I feel it is valid to use the lcd. It helps in many ways 1 big thing is taking crap off the screen so u have more viewing space while u play! We all dont have big screens. Not all agree and thats fine, Dont buy it if you dont like the mod. Also if Anet dont wanna suport it let us make one without making our game crash when we use it.
Also just extra input: Its not like the Lcd gives an upperhand on cheating we just want the same info you guys show on ingame but on our lcd.
I have been working with a small (not very exp'ed team to create one but everytime we enter it in game it crashes. If we get it to work we will post it for free.
example: every key uder lcd will be used for diffrent stats and readings we came up with a cool idea of showing guild members online and friends thought that would be nice. also features will work even when GW is min. so you can work and chk for online chats and stats!
I will start a thread if all thinks it would help the cause and promote ideas!
Common Anet make this money spent on this key board worth it!

Auto Assault is made by Netdevil, not Anet. Although they are both under NCsoft they have different devs.

I love my G15. Only thing holding it back from being perfect is the support for games. :/
